Online Seminar: Technologies for Aluminum Foundry - 11/19/2020

The online seminar on technologies for aluminum smelting will be the first major online technical event focused on making available to aluminum smelters information and innovations in the sector.

The Event will be divided into 4 days of presentations from November 16 to 19, always at 3 pm. The programation:

• 11/16 - Themes: Fusion Costs Reduction

Let's talk about good practices and technologies available to reduce costs in aluminum fusion

• 11/17 - Theme: Metallurgical Treatment of Aluminum

We will talk about Transport, handling and metallurgical treatments of the baths, such as: Scorification, Degassing, Grain Refining and Silicon Modification. We will have the lecture of Mr. Fábio Cassio dos Reis

• 11/18 - Theme: Engineering and Molds

We will talk about mold simulation and channel system to prevent oxide formation. We will count on the participation of Dr. Ricardo Fuoco;

• 11/19 - Theme: Technology in Aluminum Injection

We will talk about the design and development of matrices for aluminum injection and also about the variables of the injection process. With the participation of Prof. Jefferson Malavazi
